Today, the problems faced by countries in the world including Indonesia is global warming. Global Warming or Global warming is the increase in average temperature of the atmosphere, ocean, and land earth.

The cause of global warming is the greenhouse effect due to human activities. Human activity through the greenhouse effect will increase the concentration of greenhouse gases such as water vapor, carbon dioxide, and methane. These gases in the atmosphere resulting in an excess amount of heat from the earth can not come out and trapped beneath the earth's temperature resulting in increased.

To overcome this problem of global warming, then it can be done in two ways. The way these countermeasures is to prevent the escape of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere (carbon menhilangkan) and reduce production of greenhouse-gas production.

Removing carbon in the air can be done by maintaining plant / tree or expanding the number of plants. Through the process of photosynthesis, plants absorb and break down carbon dioxide and store it in wood. Of the photosynthetic process will be generated oxygen that is needed by all living creatures on this earth.

Sources of plant / tree is the forest. However, almost all over the world happened deforestation. In Indonesia, one of the causes of forest destruction is illegal logging or illegal logging. illegal logging has resulted in the destruction of forests in Kalimantan, Aceh, West Sulawesi, and other forests in Indonesia. Things we should do is crack down on illegal logging and the actors do forest conservation that have been damaged.

The destruction of forests due to illegal logging gives a negative effect on the human environment, especially in Indonesia. These impacts include: the lack of ground water supplies, the occurrence of landslides and floods, extinction of some animals, and the silting of the river. Therefore, efforts need to be done in restoring forests is critical so that the catastrophe can be avoided.
