  • Seasonal Forest, located in Indonesia which has a region of high temperatures and have different growth conditions in the rainy season and dry season. In the dry season the tree will wither and the rainy season will grow green again. Examples of seasonal forests are forests of teak and kapok. There are many seasonal forest in Central Java and East Java.
  • Tropical Rain Forest, located in areas of high rainfall. Indonesian tropical climate and passed the equator so that Indonesia have year-round sunshine, high rainfall and high air temperatures. In Indonesia there is a tropical rain forest in Sumatra, Borneo, Celebes and Papua.
